About Gruha Vidhi
Gruha Vidhi Pooja
Simple enough to follow, complete enough to do it right: a pooja one step at a time, from the shopping list to the last line.
- A preparation list: what to buy, cook and set out, and how many days ahead to start.
- Every step in order: the mantra to say, what it means, and a recitation to follow.
- In your language: text and mantras in the language you read, with transliteration alongside.
- Ganesha Chaturti —

Gruha Vidhi Prayer
The prayers themselves, learned the way they always were: by listening, then saying them back to somebody who knows them.
- Hear it, word by word: each mantra recited, every word marked as it is chanted, with its meaning.
- Say it, and be heard: recite it and the app listens to the syllables, the tone and the timing.
- A practice that keeps: a streak for each day you chant, with family and friends.
Who made this
A mother who wanted to pass on her culture and traditions to her own kids. Most of us learned poojas by standing next to someone who already knew them — a mother, a grandmother, an aunt. Gruha Vidhi started as a way to make sure that knowledge reached my own children clearly, without anything getting lost along the way. It's grown into something anyone can use — a simple way to follow our traditions, in the language you actually pray in.
A portion of every purchase goes toward supporting temples and Veda Patasalais.
